Here's to hoping the grass is greener.
Those of you that know me, know that I am leaving my current employer and heading back to my last employer. It shouldn't have been too much of a shock for those that read my last posting. The thing that really sucks for me during this transition is that my wife started a new job last week. This in itself is a good thing, as it gets her out of the house and deal with people more mature than our kids. (let's hope anyway!) The thing that is a big adjustment for me is that I am used to 1. getting to work at 6am every morning and 2. having my wife available during work hours to take care of any needs. Both these points have really gotten to me the last few days. Brandy's training starts daily at 7am and we can't take our kids to daycare till 7:30, so I won't be getting to work till around 8am every morning. That's 2 hours after my norm and stresses me out a bit. Then there is point number 2: in their 1st week back to daycare, the fire alarm system at the daycare began malfunctioning and they closed the place for 1 1/2 days. With Brandy in training, I'm the one that stay's home with them. I really enjoy spending the time with my kids, but it is my last week at JM and didn't really want to miss any time my last week. I guess I just feel guilty about it, even though I know it is out of my control.
Nothing else to say, I just didn't want to get hassled any more due to my lack of posts. . . Gina. Let's hope the grass is truely greener and doesn't just appear that way with the new job.
