It's been a while since my last posting. Your right oreo, not much interesting happening to me lately. When I started this, I made a rule that I wouldn't blog about work, but I'm disregarding that rule for this one. A couple years ago, when I started my current job, there wasn't much right with the computer network and servers. Now, although not perfect, they are fairly reliable. But now it is like pulling teeth to get to do anything. You see, we just got bought out a couple months ago, and if I want to make any change to one of our systems, I am required to submit a change request form. Now that would be fine, except I'm not allowed to make that change untill someone approves it. In the last 3 weeks I've submitted 3 or 4 of these requests and none of them have been approved. Very frustrating to always be looking for work and never doing any. So now I begin to look for work elsewhere. What really gets me through the day is my wife and kids. I spend all day just wanting to go home so I can talk to Brandy, wrestle with my boys or just to see what they have started doing on that particular day. Brandy has more energy than anyone I know. Every few weeks I come home and every piece of furniture in the house has moved, or she has painted a room, or she switched which bedroom each boy sleeps in. I give her a hard time about the bedroom switching, but I love that about her. Usually what they have started doing, is something that they're not supposed to, like take their play lite saber and swing at a chandelier in the dining room, untill it breaks. Yea, that was last weeks. I was filling up a swimming pool yesterday and looked up and saw Casey looking out his window at me. The first thought that went through my head was that if he was a little older, I'm sure he would think of trying to jump out that window into the pool. Oh, soooo many trips to the emergency room we've had and am going to have. I'm the only one if the house that's awake now, that makes the coffee taste better for some reason. The only sound I hear is the tap tap click of the keyboard as I type. I fly out to DC and NY this week. When I first got a job that required traveling, I thought I would be able to enjoy the trip. Boy was I wrong. I end up working many more hours than I would if I had stayed in town. As if Me, Brandy, our 3 kids, and 2 cats weren't enough, we have taken to ferret sitting. I don't mind, but boy do they stink. Maybe I'll get some potpourri to line his/her cage.

That is just so sweet what you wrote about your family. See...I don't need a family...I live though you guys! I hope your flight went better than Chris'. My flights were perfectly on time! Just keep thinking of your family while at work...I know how frustrating it is!
