Importance of pagerank

If are attempting to monetize your blog, increasing your google pagerank is a must. For instance, I use payperpost for a vast majority of my monetizing options. With their new structure, the opportunities that I have, with a pagerank of 0, are very limited. The solution to this is to get as many incoming links to my site as I can get. Those incoming links are harder to achieve than I once thought. I just have to keep telling myself that patience is the key to creating a successful monetized blogging endeavor. It's been almost 1 month since I found payperpost.com so I thought this would be a good time to mention the success I've experienced. If you're not familiar with their service, I'll sum up for you.

Payperpost will give you a wide variety of topics to blog about. They have a new segmentation system which awards bloggers with higher site traffic. If your blog is popular enough, you have the opportunity to make up to $1000 for one post. On the other hand, if your blog doesn't have the traffic yet, you still have the opportunity to make some money via payperpost. The reason I haven't been paid any yet is because that payperpost requires your post to remain on your site for 30 days before they pay you. They also require that your blog disclose that you receive monetary payment for some of your posts. You can read my full disclosure at the bottom of this page. Also notice that you have the option of sending some of your earnings to charity; currently to either the Red Cross or for the habitat for humanity.

This segmentation that they began a couple weeks ago really motivates us bloggers to promote our site and generate traffic to our sites in order to qualify for those opportunities that offer the big money. But remember, payperpost is the perfect opportunity for high traffic and lower traffic bloggers alike.

Monetized blogging rules

I've seen the professional bloggers make their posts giving us the top 10 lists like 10 blogging mistakes to avoid, 10 techniques for finding blog readers, Blog Rules, Dave's 9 rules for blogging. This is all good info for your blog, however; you need to keep yourself in your blog. Once you start blogging about something you can't really back, is the moment your blog begins to fail. If you want a successful blog, there are two rules that always hold true:

1. Blog about something that interests you.
2. keep the content coming.

Looking back at all of my posts, I realize that I have made many mistakes along the way. I have found a topic to blog about and rush the content out. The result is not conveying my thought as clearly as I had hoped. I need to learn how to slow down and make my content useful to the readers.

One of my excuses is a lack of writing experience. It has been over 12 years since I've taken a writing course in college. I do feel I'm getting better. Not that my writing is getting better, but I now recognize my mistakes.

New Blog and reformatting of this blog

Announcement: I have created a new blog titled Bliss99Marketing. Be sure to visit it often. That site will be the new site of my marketing offers and findings from my experiences on the web.
