Poker Forum

About 2 years ago, I started watching Texas Hold'em on TV. I'm almost embarrassed to say that I was watching celebrity poker. Watching this didn't give me any strategy insights, but it did show me the basics of how to play. I then moved on to watching professional poker on tv, which showed me some strategy that I could use in my play. An even better way to learn is to read what thousands of players are saying in a forum setting. That is why I decided to accept this sponsored review for Cards Chat.

They are a Poker Forum with over 20,000 members. You can visit the site and read many of the discussions with your guest account, or you can sign up for free to participate in those discussions. If you're interested playing online, then you will find the reviews section very helpful. This is my favorite section. They list all the major online poker sites and give very informative reviews of them. This can help you decide which site to make your primary online poker site. Since you are reading this blog, you might also find their blog useful. It makes it easy to view all blog posts related to poker strategy. Don't go to Vegas without first forming a poker strategy and don't form that strategy without research on Cards Chat.

BarterBee

You know that I've been on the lookout for any new sites or services that I think we could all use. Well, I just came across a campaign in ReviewMe for BarterBee.com, which offers you a free way to get movies, music, and games. They are sponsoring many reviews of their site, and this is one of them.

BarterBee.com - The Free Way to Get Movies, Music, and Games

They seem to bee exactly that, a cool new way to get movies, music and games. I am most interested in getting some games to play on my Xbox 360. If you sign up now, you can get 5 free points. Not sure what that means? Well, it looks like you can get a game disk for as little as 2 points. You can acquire points by listing your items on the site for a point value. These points that you acquire by distributing your items can be used to get new items of your choice. One thing that concerns me is the quality of the disks that are being passed around from person to person. They currently don't have too many XBox 360 games, but I'm sure that will change after all these reviews are done and they become more popular. They do have 1 360 game that I haven't played yet, Phantasy Star Universe. The next time you complain that you don't have any games to play, you can head over to BarterBee and they will get you one in the mail for hours of game play.

Quibblo.com online polls

Sponsored:

It's never been easier to add a poll to your blog. The above poll was created with only a few clicks on Quibblo.com. I am unsure as to how new Quibblo is, but they are generating some buzz by requesting some reviews from ReviewMe members. I for one am glad they did, as I've been looking for a site that offers a way to publish polls on my blogs, but have had difficulty finding one that is easy to use. Polls and quizzes are an underrated aspect to many blogs. They offer a way for your readers to easily participate in your blog.

Quibblo not only allows you to publish your polls and quizzes on your site, but you can have them available to any Quibblo members on Quibblo.com. If you don't want to publish your own quiz, publish one that someone else has already made. I enjoyed clicking on the Random tab and filling in a few random surveys, at the end of which, they gave me a small personality profile. The search functionality on the site is surprisingly accurate and fast to index. Immediately after I created the above poll, I performed a search for Google Analytics and was returned my poll. It's easy to register and start filling out polls immediately. I recommend you check it out yourself.
