Minivan shopping
I thought I'd share my findings on minivan comparisons based on my shopping experience this past summer. To start with, I'll point out that I went with the Dodge Grand Caravan. I restricted my comparison list to: Dodge Grand Caravan, Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey, and Saturn Relay.
The Saturn had limited storage space and lots of road noise. It did drive like an SUV and the price was reasonable, which were the only pluses I could give this.
The Toyota and the Honda were pretty much the same vehicle as far as I was concerned. They both drove extremely nice, little to no road noise, very spacious inside, but the price was slightly out of my range.
The Dodge had more road noise that I would like, but the "Stow n Go" middle row of seats is an absolutely fabulous idea. The price was right, even with the SE package and DVD player. The drive is nice and smooth. They are, after all, the inventor of the minivan. (If you don't count the VW van, that is)
