One of my College heroes has passed

Mr Momofuku Ando, the inventor of instant ramen died on January 5, 2007. During my college years and being on a tight budget, Ramen soup was a staple of my diet. Growing up, whenever my dad would let me stay up late, we would wait till 1am and make some Ramen soup with scrambled eggs and onion in it. From then on, that soup has been called 1 o'clock soup, which I have carried over to my kids. When they are old enough to stay up that late, I will be sure to make some 1 o'clock soup at 1am.
