Anniversary of a different sort

No, today isn't my wedding anniversary or any significant achievement in my children's lives, but is the 1 year anniversary of getting my xbox 360. Now you may say I'm geeky or nerdy for even remembering this day, but this was the first "toy" I got for myself in about 7 years. I don't spend hours each day playing on it, but it is a nice distraction that I can turn to when I want to stop thinking about anything in the "real" world. I've recently borrowed Splinter Cell: Double Agent from a friend and am slowly making my way through the single player game. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this game as my usual preference is sports games or 1st person shooters; however, this game is quickly turning into one of my favorites. The next game that I'm looking forward to its release is Mass Effect. I've never played an RPG before this game just looks cool. Hopefully it will be released 1st quarter 2007.
