What goes through your head while riding a motorcycle?

Riding a motorcycle leaves you with a lot of time to either think or play songs in your head, seeing as you can’t listen to anything other than the sound of you bike. You can probably guess what the stereotypical songs are that go through one’s head while riding a big 1100 cruiser: “Born to Be Wild”; “Magic Carpet Ride”; “Bad to the Bone”; “Boys Are Back in Town”; “Sweet Home Alabama”; “Sky is Crying”; or anything else by George Thorogood, Stepenwolf, Doors, or Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Which of these were running through my head on my ride into work this morning? None. My kids were watching Dora the Explorer when I was leaving home this morning so I had that theme running through my head for then entire 15 minute ride. 15 minutes may not seem like much to you, but try it with the only thing in your head is the Dora the Explorer tune. It made it seem like 15 hours. Here’s to hoping the ride home tonight provides a better sound in my head.

LOL...that is just too funny! Just use your Ipod to listen to tunes...oh yeah, that's right...I will leave it there.

Okay, that was pretty funny. Coffee-spilling kind of funny. Thanks for the mess G13. :-)

Last night, as I was riding through the torrential downpour trying to avoid the lightning, I strangely had song 'No Rain' by Blind Melon going through my head. Made me wish I was wearing a bee costume and dancing around downtown.
