Romantic Anniversary

A few years back, I ran into a friend of mine and his wife at Menard's. After talking to them for a little while, I found out it was their anniversary. I thought that was a strange place to go for such an occasion, but hey, to each his own. Fast forward to yesterday, I found another unusual place to go for my anniversary. It was mine and Brandy's 4 year anniversary (boy how time flies). Our goal for the night was to get away from the house, just the two of us. We arranged for a friend to stay with the kids so we could go out to eat and relax. What really happened was Brandy got sick and went to her doctor in the afternoon. When I got home, she decided that her doctor Wasn't thorough enough and wanted to get a second opinion. We learned real fast in the emergency room that if you go in and complain about chest pains, you get pushed to the front of the line. After all sorts of tests, it was determined she has a bunch of mucus causing the pain in her chest. I suppose that's the good news. I guess, in a way, we did accomplish our goal. We did get out of the house just the two of us, but instead of eating a nice dinner, we sat in Trauma Room A at the hospital. The moral of the story is that when making goals, be more precise as to exactly what you want.
