Giving it a try

I thought I would give this a try. Zach has been telling me that once I start I will get hooked. BTW, his blog is at: http://icmpme.blogspot.com, he has some pretty interesting, while sometimes nerdy, ramblings there.

I suppose I will start off this blog by giving the 1 1/2 cent overview of who I am and what I do.

I live in central Illinois with a beautiful wife, Brandy, and 3 fantastic boys; Seth, Parker, and Casey. P&C are the almost 3 year-old twins. I work in the IT field as a Windows and Network Administrator for an online media company, which was just bought by Jupiter Media. So, like anyone who works for a company that just got bought out, I am nervous about my job security. Hopefully, everything will work out. I guess I just have to follow the the advice of the hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and the title of this Blog and "Don't Panic".

That's probably good enough for my first entry. I am going to spend some time changing the look and feel of this blog. This may be a good excuse for me to re-learn html.
